What is NOM^3?
NOM^3 is a student-run catering group that features seasonal and healthy food with an emphasis on sustainability and food education. NOM^3 is the first step in a food revolution across campuses that will change the way college students approach food. By featuring ingredients sourced locally or organically, we strive to educate young adults about the impact of dietary choices on the planet. Students are often too busy to cook for themselves and tend to reach for the most convenient option. NOM^3 speaks to this market segment and can help young adults form healthy and environmentally-friendly eating habits.
Our mission statement remains:
- Making healthy, fresh, and delicious meals accessible near the college campus using local or organic ingredients whenever economically possible
- Increasing awareness of food origins and healthy eating habits
- Promoting a sense of community within the student body
